Wach Stopped In Brutal 6-vs-1 Cage Fight

Mariusz Wach was stopped in a freakshow 6-on-1 cage fight Saturday at PRIME MMA Summer Fest, two weeks after losing to Tyson Fury in Thailand.

Wach faced six opponents under K-1 rules with MMA gloves, with two fresh fighters rotating in every few minutes, MMA Mania reported. Each pair pushed the Polish heavyweight against the cage and battered him until they gassed, then tagged in the next duo. The referee waved off the contest after three rounds of sustained punishment.

From Fury Fight To Freakshow Circuit

The 45-year-old fought Fury on July 24 at Max Muay Thai Stadium in Pattaya, quitting on the stool after seven rounds. That bout was not broadcast live and is slated to air on Fury's Netflix reality show. Wach, once a legitimate heavyweight contender, has recently accepted multiple-opponent fights under mixed rules.

He won similar 1-vs-6 matches in the past but was overwhelmed this time by the sustained two-man pressure. MMA Mania noted he could do little but defend as each pair took turns controlling him against the fence.

Fury is expected to face Anthony Joshua next, while Wach's next move remains unclear.
