Logan Paul Accuses Nate Diaz Of Turning Down An Offer To Fight In WWE

In the MMA latest updates, Logan Paul has revealed that Nate Diaz rejected an offer to fight him in the WWE.

Paul is currently getting ready to face Dillon Danis on October 14th, 2023. Although he does have boxing experience, having also faced Floyd Mayweather, Logan has dabbled in wrestling.

His appearance at Smackdown have been well-received, as Paul has taken the chance to promote his PRIME venture. But in keeping with that, Paul alleged that Diaz was offered a sum to fight him following his free agency from the UFC.

Logan On Diaz

"Yeah, they were (offered it). You know why I think it didn’t come to fruition? I don’t know. I think Nate wanted to fight Jake. There’s no doubt that any event that I do with the WWE would be massive. They’re one of the biggest sports organizations on the planet. Where’s the hesitation? I don’t understand it. I’m sure he has his reasons," Paul

In the meantime, Diaz went on to face Logan’s brother, Jake Paul, in his boxing debut. He ultimately hit the canvas in the fifth round before losing via unanimous decision.

However, Paul also made an offer for a rematch in MMA which would require Diaz to fight in the PFL. As of now, nothing has been confirmed in that regard. Instead, Paul accused Diaz of avoiding him.

Jake On Diaz

"We’re at the drawing board right now. Nate Diaz ducked the $10 million offer, so he’s not the badass that everyone said he was. I wanted to fight him in MMA and do something that no boxer has really ever done, which is, in the prime of their career, go over to MMA. MMA fighters have gone over to boxing, but I want to go over to MMA and Nate Diaz ducked the offer.

"With those guys, I don’t know if they have reason. I don’t even know if they think. There wasn’t a transparent reason. I think it was just something that he realized there’s a lot of risk for him. If I beat him in MMA — which I just dog-walked him in the boxing ring, made it look easy, and if I beat him in MMA, I take his legendary status. So I don’t know if he was like, maybe the risk of this isn’t good enough for the $10 million," Paul

Nevertheless, it is unlikely to be a case of ducking. Diaz is one of the most-accomplished fighters in the UFC. Therefore, taking on Paul in his own sport is unlikely to deter him.

So in reality, it could be a case of Diaz not wanting to burn bridges with the UFC. He has already indicated that he would return to the UFC later down the line.

Although he is a free agent currently, his loyalty may be to the UFC. After all, the PFL are the UFC’s biggest competitors in the MMA business. And there is no getting away from that.
