Kyle Daukaus on superhero films, The Boys, and bouncing back

Tom Rashid

UFC middleweight Kyle Daukaus sat down with MMA Fighting to discuss his passion for superhero cinema rather than his recent cage setback.

The 185-pounder, who dropped a decision to Bo Nickal at UFC White House last month, told José Youngs about his affinity for the Watchmen, Batman, and Spider-Man franchises, as well as his fandom for the television series The Boys. The conversation aired as part of MMA Fighting's Anything But Fighting series.

Daukaus looks to rebuild after Nickal loss

The June defeat snapped a six-fight winning streak for Daukaus and marked his first loss since rejoining the UFC roster in 2025. A former two-time CFFC middleweight champion, he holds 17 career victories with 12 coming by submission.

His notable wins include Gerald Meerschaert, Michel Pereira, Jamie Pickett, and Dustin Stoltzfus. No next bout has been announced for the grappling specialist.
