Khamzat Chimaev calls out Sean Strickland for UFC 328 rematch

Khamzat Chimaev wants another crack at Sean Strickland after dropping the UFC middleweight championship to the American at UFC 328 in Newark last month.

Chimaev took to social media to challenge Strickland directly, per MMA Mania. "Accept the fight, don't run, I'll beat you anyway," the former champion wrote. "The sooner this happens, the easier it will be to breathe."

Chimaev's confidence returns after RAF win

Chimaev, now 15-1, may have regained some swagger after finishing Dillon Danis in St. Louis under the RAF banner earlier this month. He also helped place the belt around Strickland's waist immediately after UFC 328, explaining later that he wanted the new champion "to clean my belt."

A rematch is not guaranteed. Strickland revealed an untimely injury that could push back his return by several months, and at least one top contender is reportedly waiting in the wings for a crack at the middleweight strap.
