Khamzat Chimaev suggests he was robbed at UFC 328

Khamzat Chimaev believes he was robbed in his fight against Sean Strickland at UFC 328 and suggested nationality played a role in the outcome.

The welterweight contender posted a tweet claiming he lost because he's not American, according to Sherdog, though he quickly deleted the message. Chimaev lost a split decision to Strickland in the co-main event earlier this month, with two judges scoring it 48-47 for the former champion.

Chimaev calls for rematch with Strickland

In a separate post that remains on his account, Chimaev wrote that he wants another crack at Strickland. "I'm waiting tell me when you're ready," he posted, tagging the American fighter. "Next time somebody has to be dead."

The loss snapped Chimaev's unbeaten streak and raised questions about his path back to a title shot. Strickland, meanwhile, positioned himself for a potential rematch with middleweight champion Dricus du Plessis.

No rematch has been announced, and the UFC has not commented on Chimaev's deleted post or his demand for a second meeting.
