Josh Hokit Teases A Major Announcement
Josh Hokit has MMA fans guessing after posting a cryptic tease on X, suggesting a significant announcement is coming for UFC Freedom 250 on June 14 at the White House.
Hokit wrote “Uh oh” alongside the shifty eyes emoji before following up with a direct message: “BIG WHITE HOUSE FIGHT ANNOUNCEMENT.” No further details were offered, but the implication — that something on the seven-fight card is about to change — sent the fight world into speculation.
Hokit’s appearance on the card itself already carries a story. At UFC 327 in Miami in April, he defeated Curtis Blaydes in what many considered the best fight of 2026 to date. Donald Trump was seated cageside that night and personally asked Dana White why Derrick Lewis was not on the Freedom 250 card. White responded by calling Lewis, then heading backstage to offer Hokit a short-notice slot at the White House. Hokit said yes without hesitation.
The Card
| Fight | Fighters | Title |

The card is already the most expensive event in UFC history, held on a custom 4,500-seat arena being constructed on the South Lawn of the White House for Trump’s 80th birthday. The headliner remains intact. Ilia Topuria (17-0) defends the undisputed lightweight title against interim champion Justin Gaethje in the main event, with the co-main featuring Alex Pereira and Ciryl Gane competing for the interim heavyweight title.
