Jon Jones says he most likely won’t compete again but isn’t fully closing the door on a UFC return.

Jones retired and vacated the heavyweight title in June 2025, then later showed interest in the UFC White House event. Asked on X whether he plans to fight again, Jones replied: “More than likely, I won’t fight again. But as of right now, I’m still getting drug tested. Leaving doors open, you never know what the future holds,” Jones

He remains in the UFC’s drug-testing pool. Jones has also been coaching Olympic wrestling gold medalist Gable Steveson and was in his corner for the 12-second knockout loss to Sean Sharaf. No opponent or return date has been announced.
