Jenkins Calls Out Perry For Rematch After Duel Arena Finish

Brandon Jenkins wants another shot at Mike Perry to shut down critics who say his Duel Arena win was a fluke.

Jenkins replaced an injured Dillon Danis on short notice and stopped Perry in April after the former UFC welterweight dislocated his shoulder during their Orlando headliner. Fans have debated whether the injury came from a Jenkins strike or simply gave out on its own, and Jenkins told MMA Junkie he is tired of hearing his finish dismissed.

Jenkins Claims Left Elbow Caused Perry's Shoulder Injury

"He never threw a punch that uncorked his shoulder," Jenkins said, per MMA Junkie. "I'm popping him with right hands, spinning elbows. He has a collar tie, and he's uppercutting me. I left-elbow him, and the arm that is on my head, him collar-tying me, blows out. I land the last strike on his head, and his shoulder pops out."

Jenkins said he followed up with what he called malicious intent and feels no remorse. He compared the situation to Ian Garry's recent demand for credit over a similar finish and said fans are trying to paint an inaccurate picture of the sequence.

"It's just wild to me people are just super disrespectful for no reason, because all I do is I show up, and I try my best," Jenkins continued. He said he knows a part of the fanbase appreciates his bloody, action-first style and hopes Perry heals in time for a rematch when MVP returns to action in early 2027.

Perry is expected back by the start of next year. Jenkins also stopped Chris Avila at MVP MMA 1 last May and holds a 19-12 record, while Perry sits at 15-9 and has teased both a UFC return and unfinished business with BKFC president David Feldman.
