Undefeated welterweight Jacobe Smith steps in on short notice at UFC 332 this Saturday in Salt Lake City.
The UFC confirmed Monday that Smith will face newcomer Bruce Whitehead in a welterweight matchup, as MMA Mania first reported. The bout came together just nine days before the event, scheduled to take place beneath a vacant flyweight title fight between Natalia Silva and Wang Cong.

Smith's Perfect Record On The Line
Smith holds a 12-0 professional record and has stopped every opponent since joining the UFC roster through Dana White's Contender Series in 2024. The 3-0 octagon run includes nine knockouts across his full career, most recently a first-round finish of Josiah Harrell at UFC Houston in February.
Whitehead brings an 8-2 record built entirely under the Fury FC banner in Texas. He enters on a two-fight winning streak and just knocked out Ali Abouzalam in 48 seconds on Sept. 20, making the turnaround to Saturday less than two weeks.
