Ian Machado Garry On McGregor's UFC Future
Ian Machado Garry believes Conor McGregor should return for one final UFC bout after the freak injury that stopped his comeback against Max Holloway.
McGregor's knee buckled seconds into the fight at UFC 327, forcing a stoppage before he could throw a strike. Machado Garry told BetVictor Casino that watching the collapse was difficult regardless of who the fighter is. "It doesn't matter who it is, any fighter in the world, when you prepare for a fight and you don't get to fight, it's not nice," he said, as MMA Junkie first reported.

Why Machado Garry Thinks McGregor Will Fight Again
The welterweight contender said McGregor will struggle to walk away on that note. "I think he'll 100 percent be back, because I think it's going to live in his head now that he did all the work to get there and he didn't get to compete," Machado Garry explained. He added that McGregor needs to close the chapter for his own mental state, having done everything right in camp only to suffer an accident in the moment.
Machado Garry said he would do the same if placed in McGregor's position. "He has to come back for his own mentality," he said. "He said he's got one more fight in his contract. He needs to go out with a bang, not like that."
