Max Holloway thinks he will beat Conor McGregor at UFC 329 on July 11 and wants the trilogy before the calendar turns.
The former featherweight champion told ESPN he envisions a third meeting at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas later this year, assuming he gets past the Irishman in their summer rematch. Holloway and McGregor last fought in 2013, with McGregor taking a decision at UFC Fight Night 26. Their first encounter, also won by McGregor, came at featherweight in 2013.

What a trilogy fight could mean for both fighters
A third bout would give Holloway a chance to even the series and cement his status as one of the division's all-time greats. For McGregor, it represents another marquee payday and a path back to title contention if he can sweep the Hawaiian.
UFC 329 takes place July 11, with the venue yet to be confirmed. Holloway has won his last two fights, while McGregor has not competed since his 2021 injury loss to Dustin Poirier.
