UFC heavyweight title challenger Josh Hokit says Gable Steveson has no business claiming to train at Jackson-Wink MMA.
Hokit, who fights Ciryl Gane for the belt at UFC 334 on Nov. 14 at Madison Square Garden, told Jorge Masvidal's show that the Olympic wrestler never shows up at the Albuquerque gym despite listing it as his training base. "He claims it, he's not here," Hokit said, per Sherdog. "I gave him a chance to be here and train with me, but he ain't here. He's doing his own thing with Jon Jones."

Steveson Training Privately With Jones
Steveson joined Jackson-Wink initially but stopped attending group sessions before his last bout, according to the report. Jones was banned from the facility in 2021 after another legal incident. Hokit accused Steveson of privately training with the former heavyweight/" class="internal-link text-bone underline decoration-ash/30 hover:decoration-gold underline-offset-2">light heavyweight champion instead of integrating with the team.
Steveson lost his most recent fight in spectacular fashion when Sean Sharaf knocked him out cold in 12 seconds at UFC 331 in September. He entered that bout as a heavy favorite.
