Hearn Tells White 'You've Lost' After Fury-Joshua News

Matchroom promoter Eddie Hearn declared victory over Dana White after Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua landed in Cardiff for December 11, telling the UFC boss he lost his push to stage the heavyweight clash in America.

The fight location became a sticking point in recent weeks, with White reportedly lobbying for Madison Square Garden after Zuffa Boxing aligned with Fury's camp. Hearn said the original contract locked the bout into the United Kingdom, and Thursday's announcement from advisor Turki Alalshikh confirmed Principality Stadium as the venue. According to MMA Junkie, Hearn told iFL TV that White has no standing in the promotion and should accept defeat.

Hearn Says White Cannot Be Involved

"Dana White cannot be involved in this fight," Hearn said, per the report. "You've lost, mate. You've lost. You did everything you could to bring the fight to America and rob the British fight fans of the fight. Give it up, son."

Hearn added that confusion arose when Netflix included White's name in early press materials despite contractual language barring Zuffa Boxing from the event. He called the move petty and said he found the situation amusing. The two promoters were once cordial, but relations soured after White entered boxing and pursued changes to the Muhammad Ali Act that drew criticism from rival promoters.

Fury and Joshua will meet at cruiserweight in what marks the biggest domestic heavyweight fight in British boxing history. The December 11 date gives both fighters three months to complete training camps after extended negotiations over the venue finally resolved in favour of the UK staging.
