Guskov responds to Walker training camp prank at Gor MMA
Bogdan Guskov has addressed the latest prank pulled by training partner Valter Walker at Gor MMA in Arizona.
Walker, known for his chaotic personality, touched Guskov inappropriately on camera in a stunt that made the rounds on social media this week. The Uzbek fighter told Red Corner MMA that Walker's behavior is something the gym has come to expect. Guskov called his teammate a fool but made clear there was no real tension between them.
Guskov unfazed ahead of short-notice fight
The incident comes as Guskov prepares to face Magomed Ankalaev in the main event at UFC Abu Dhabi on July 25, taking the fight on 14 days' notice. Walker is also on the card, meeting Thomas Petersen in a heavyweight bout.
Guskov said he tried to retaliate but Walker ran off before posting the video anyway. He described Walker as having chaos in his head and said stopping him from posting content is impossible. The 18-3 light heavyweight said Walker would go home and upload the footage no matter what anyone told him.
Both fighters train under head coach Gor Azizyan and will compete at Etihad Arena in less than two weeks.
