Georges St-Pierre on Aiemann Zahabi vs Sean O'Malley strategy

Georges St-Pierre thinks Aiemann Zahabi has the tools to beat Sean O'Malley on Sunday, as long as he sticks to his game and does not overcomplicate things.

Zahabi faces O'Malley in a bantamweight bout at UFC White House, with St-Pierre and Firas Zahabi, Aiemann's coach and brother, both working his corner. St-Pierre told UFC on TNT Sports that Zahabi's recovery from the weight cut impressed him and that the Canadian looks ready to perform.

St-Pierre's gameplan for Zahabi victory

"I feel good about this," St-Pierre said, per Sherdog. "After seeing how he recuperated in a very small amount of time after his weight cut, it's just amazing. He looks like the Hulk right now… Aiemann will be successful tomorrow; he just needs to be as good as he is normally in the gym. The way I've seen him perform in the gym, he just needs to basically not f*ck it up. Don't try to do too much, just be yourself, that's enough."

Zahabi enters the fight on a seven-fight winning streak that includes wins over Pedro Munhoz, Jose Aldo and Marlon Vera. O'Malley bounced back from consecutive title-fight losses to Merab Dvalishvili with a recent victory over Yadong Song.

St-Pierre, widely regarded as one of the greatest fighters in UFC history, credits Firas Zahabi with shaping his own career and now believes the same coaching system will deliver Aiemann a signature win. UFC White House goes down Sunday.
