Aiemann Zahabi talks Dragon Ball Z, Naruto ahead of UFC bout
UFC bantamweight contender Aiemann Zahabi watches Dragon Ball Z and Naruto with his daughters between training camps.
Zahabi sat down with MMA Fighting's José Youngs in Washington, D.C. to discuss his passion for anime ahead of his Sunday fight against former champion Sean O'Malley at UFC White House. The 38-year-old Canadian, who holds a six-fight win streak at 135 pounds, said he shares the shows with his family between fight prep.
Zahabi's path to O'Malley showdown
The Tristar Gym product scored his biggest victories in 2025, first outlasting Jose Aldo in a competitive bout at UFC 315 before defeating Chito Vera later in the year. Those wins pushed him to No. 8 in MMA Fighting's global bantamweight rankings.
A victory over O'Malley would crack the division's elite tier for Zahabi, whose streak stands as the longest active run at bantamweight in the promotion. O'Malley is angling for his own title shot after losing the belt.
UFC White House takes place Sunday with the Zahabi-O'Malley bout serving as a potential title eliminator at 135 pounds.
