Garry Tells Morales To Prove Himself Against Elite Competition

Garry opened the conversation by addressing Morales's recent comments. "All the sh*t you talk, it's OK," he said. "Make sure you back it up." He then shifted to praise, telling Morales he has the talent to compete for a title shot. "Listen, you're a good fighter. Show up, keep winning, and you can do anything," Garry said. "You've got massive fights in this division. You've got me, you've got Carlos Prates, you've got Islam. Show up and fight. Does that make sense? You're an animal. You're strong."

Before UFC 330, Garry said publicly that Morales needed another win against top-tier opposition before earning a title fight. Morales made weight to serve as an emergency replacement for the main event and is considered a potential next challenger for Makhachev's belt.
