Fury Calls Out Usyk For Trilogy After Joshua Deal Collapses

Tyson Fury has abandoned pursuit of Anthony Joshua and is now pushing for a trilogy with Oleksandr Usyk.

The former heavyweight champion posted a video calling out the Ukrainian after talks with Joshua collapsed for what appears to be the final time. Fury accused Joshua of backing out yet again and directed his attention to Usyk, whom he has lost to twice by decision. Per BJ Penn, Fury challenged Usyk to settle their rivalry in November, asking whether the Ukrainian wants to fight this year or retire.

What Fury Said About Usyk Trilogy

In the video, Fury acknowledged Usyk's previous wins but suggested the judges' scorecards were generous. He called on Usyk's team to make the third fight happen, noting that Usyk had shown the courage to face him twice already. The ball is in Usyk's court, Fury said, and he is actively seeking a new opponent if the Ukrainian declines.

Interest in a third Usyk bout remains uncertain. Usyk beat Fury in both prior meetings, and while the fights were competitive, neither result drew serious controversy. Usyk has vacated his heavyweight titles but has not committed to retirement.

The Joshua fight has been discussed for over a decade without materializing. Fury recently praised Dana White for pushing the Joshua negotiations forward, but tensions with Eddie Hearn appear to have derailed the deal. Hearn is reportedly threatening legal action against White and TKO over alleged backdoor negotiations with Joshua.
