Fury Calls Out 'Money-Thirsty' Joshua Over Stalled Deal

Tyson Fury took to Instagram on Friday to accuse Anthony Joshua and promoter Eddie Hearn of torpedoing their long-discussed heavyweight matchup over money demands, calling both men cowards in an eight-minute video posted during a training session.

The former champions were expected to finalize a November 20 date at Madison Square Garden following July tune-up wins, but negotiations have stalled over the fight location. Hearn maintains Joshua's contract requires an England venue, but Fury said the real issue is his rival's camp seeking additional payment from Saudi adviser Turki Alalshikh. "It doesn't look like they're going to sign the fight, all because Eddie Hearn and [Joshua] want more money," Fury said, per The Ring. "They've already had that much money off of Turki in the last few years."

Fury Offers To Fight Anywhere While Joshua Rides Golf Carts

Fury, who stopped Mariusz Wach in seven rounds on July 24 in Thailand, said he has been training since and is prepared to compete on any continent. He contrasted his readiness with Joshua posting a golf cart video this week, questioning whether the 30-4 fighter is serious about the bout. Joshua knocked out Kristian Prenga in two rounds on July 25 in Saudi Arabia after surviving early knockdowns.

The 36-2-1 Fury also invited UFC chief Dana White to join his team for any Joshua fight, responding to criticism over White's involvement with Zuffa Boxing. "If Dana White wants to be involved, he can come on my side, he can be a part of my team," Fury said. "All the promoters in the world that want to be involved, come to me, join my team."

No rescheduled date has been announced. Fury returns to training camp next week.
