Fury Enlists Tyson For Latest Joshua Call-Out

Boxing Editorial Team ·

Tyson Fury borrowed a Mike Tyson line for his latest message to Anthony Joshua, telling him to "sign the contract, big boy" — a phrase Tyson himself once used toward Bob Sapp following a 2003 K-1 event.

Joshua's existing agreement calls for the fight to take place in England, but organizers are pushing to move it to Madison Square Garden. His promoter, Eddie Hearn, wants improved terms in exchange for the switch, citing the tax burden of fighting in New York.

Both camps have put a deadline on talks. Fury's UK promoter Frank Warren has said Fury will fight in November regardless of the outcome, whether against Joshua or a replacement opponent. The fight had been targeted for November 20, though continued delays could push that date back.
