Fury Calls Out Joshua As Fight Talks Stall

Tyson Fury accused Anthony Joshua of dodging their heavyweight clash and claimed his British rival has been fooling fans for years as talks over the long-awaited bout drag on.

The holdup centres on location, Sky Sports reports. Saudi organisers Sela want the fight in the United States while Joshua's team are pushing for the UK. Fury posted on Instagram saying he has agreed to every proposed venue without conditions. "I've been down to fight in every location that's been mentioned — England, Ireland, Vegas, New York, back to England, back to Ireland, back to New York," he said. "I've said yep, yep, yep every single time with zero stipulations."

Warren Says Fury Has Signed

Promoter Frank Warren told Sky Sports that Fury has put pen to paper and the decision now rests with Joshua's camp. "Tyson has signed up for the fight and agreed to the fight," Warren said. "He's all good to go, just waiting for AJ." Warren added that the venue remains uncertain and will depend on financial backers and broadcasters. Fury this week teased Madison Square Garden on social media but told his promoter he would fight anywhere, including Wembley or the Isle of Man.

Both fighters are 37 and last competed in July. Joshua stopped Kristian Prenga in two rounds after being dropped twice in the opener. Fury's opponent Mariusz Wach retired in the seventh.

Fury closed his Instagram rant by calling for Joshua to commit. He said both men have been knocked out before and questioned what Joshua has to lose. The fighters have circled each other for years without reaching terms.
