Fans React To Canelo Vs. Crawford Broadcast Team – ‘Great Line Up'
A stacked broadcast team has been announced for Canelo Alvarez vs. Terence Crawford’s Undisputed Super Middleweight Title fight.
The bout, which will air on Netflix, has history on the line. Canelo knows a win solidifies his legacy further, having just become undisputed at 168 for the second time in his last fight by beating William Scull. Canelo’s only defeats have come against Floyd Mayweather and Dmitry Bivol. Meanwhile, Crawford knows a win makes him undisputed in a third weight class. Bud has already achieved that milestone at 140 and 147, as he aims to continue his undefeated record.
The main commentary will feature play-by-play by Jon Anik. Max Kellerman and Andre Ward will undertake the boxing analysis. Meanwhile, Michael Buffer will introduce the main card and Joe Martinez will do the same for the preliminary card.
Ringside reporters Jim Gray and Heidi Androl will provide analysis and interviews, while Skipper Kelp is an unofficial judge. Mario Lopez, Antonio Tarver, and journalists Mark Kriegel and Mike Coppinger will also feature. Boxing fans had plenty to say.
Reaction
“I’m going to be the third man ringside calling the Canelo Alvarez vs. Terence Crawford fight on September 13th at Allegiant Stadium. I’m excited to be part of this event. I’m excited to be ringside calling this great card and this great match-up. It’s a historic event for many reasons for both fighters. It’s super middleweight supremacy on the line. Legacy is on the line.
"Your namesake and reputation are on the line. This is rare. Guys don’t want to take that kind of smoke. They don’t want to face another counterpart that could ruin everything they’ve built. And it doesn’t matter how much is on the table for guys. They’d rather take a lesser risk for less money than to risk everything the way these fighters are doing. I want to thank Turki Alalshikh for putting this fight on and Dana White for putting this fight on," Ward said
