Fans Predict Canelo Vs. Crawford – ‘He's Getting KOd'
Fans have given their predictions for Canelo Alvarez vs. Terence Crawford’s Undisputed Super Middleweight Title fight, which is set for September 13.
Canelo is the favorite as the current undisputed super middleweight champion, the second time he has achieved that feat, having defeated William Scull in May. The performance was not the best, although that was primarily due to Scull’s failure to engage. Meanwhile, Crawford faces the biggest test of his career. He defeated Israil Madrimov last August to become a four-weight world champion, picking up the WBA belt at 154. However, moving up two weight classes to take on the toughest test in boxing will not be easy. Here is how fans saw the fight playing out.
Pre-Fight
"My style doesn’t change because I can do everything. I can box. I can go forward. I can counter-punch. I can do whatever I want. Of course, but I’m not thinking about losing. I can feel it. I’m ready right now. If the fight is right now, I’m ready," Canelo said
"I have everything to lose because he’s moving up two weight classes. But I’m going to win. I’m a winner. I can feel it," Canelo added
“When it all comes down to it, what people don’t understand is Terence’s mindset. This sport really comes down to mindset, and having the willingness to put in whatever work it takes to accomplish the goal you’re trying to meet. I think that’s one thing that makes Terence who he is. I work with a lot of different competitive athletes from a lot of different sports – he has that competitive spirit and that mindset to do whatever it takes," Chet Fortune (Crawford’s coach) stated
