Errol Spence Jr vs Tim Tszyu set for Sydney with Charlo, Fulton

Errol Spence Jr will face Tim Tszyu on July 25 at Sydney's Afterpay Arena, with former world champions Jermall Charlo and Stephen Fulton added to the PBC card, Bad Left Hook reports.

Charlo returns for his third fight in five years against welterweight/" class="internal-link text-bone underline decoration-ash/30 hover:decoration-gold underline-offset-2">super welterweight Koen Mazoudier, a matchup that shapes up as a severe mismatch. The unbeaten middleweight, now 36, takes on a New South Wales fighter who was stopped by Nikita Tszyu in 2024 and carries a 15-4-1 record with no signature wins. Mazoudier sits well below the calibre of Charlo's recent opponents Jose Benavidez Jr and Thomas LaManna, raising questions about why a fighter with Charlo's name value and sanctioning body standing would accept such a tune-up.

Fulton looks to rebound against Wilson at 130

In a more competitive booking, Stephen Fulton meets Liam Wilson in what amounts to a must-win for the former unified champion. Fulton missed weight and put in a dismal performance against O'Shaquie Foster last December, losing his featherweight/" class="internal-link text-bone underline decoration-ash/30 hover:decoration-gold underline-offset-2">super featherweight title in the process. Wilson, who holds an 18-3 record with 10 knockouts, has proven a notch below the division's best but remains dangerous enough to expose whether Fulton has a path forward at 130 pounds.

The Spence-Tszyu headliner marks a significant homecoming for the Australian, who will defend on home soil for the first time since moving up the welterweight ranks. Weigh-ins are scheduled for July 24.
