Shanelle Dyer believes Elise Reed's striking approach will create knockout opportunities when the strawweights collide Saturday at UFC Sacramento.
Dyer returns to the octagon at Golden 1 Center following a third-round stoppage of Ravena Oliveira in her promotional debut this past March in London. The British fighter told Sherdog that Reed's low-guard taekwondo stance presents clear openings. "She is a kicker, but I am a better kicker," Dyer said. "She's very susceptible to a knockout."

Reed's UFC Record Makes Saturday A Must-Win
The 25-year-old Dyer has finished five of her seven career wins by knockout or technical knockout. Her only professional loss came against Ivana Petrovic in 2020 before joining the UFC roster. She added that her camp has focused heavily on finishing opponents, noting that fighters do not get paid by the minute.
Reed enters the bout with a 4-5 UFC record and has alternated wins and losses since her octagon debut. Per Sherdog, Dyer described the matchup as perfect stylistically and said she has worked extensively on her kicking game without revealing specifics of her game plan.
