Dubois Plans Route To Baumgardner Showdown
Baumgardner, a former unified featherweight/" class="internal-link text-bone underline decoration-ash/30 hover:decoration-gold underline-offset-2">super featherweight champion, has traded words with Dubois in recent months. The Brit said those exchanges went too far and that she intends to settle the matter in the ring when the timing aligns. "Disrespectful," Dubois told ESPN when asked about Baumgardner's tone.
Dubois, who holds the IBO lightweight title, is targeting at least one more significant outing before chasing the Baumgardner collision. The 2027 timeline suggests she wants to sharpen her credentials at 135 pounds before stepping up to what would be her biggest payday.
