Daniil Donchenko flatlines UFC newcomer with head kick TKO at UFC Baku
Daniil Donchenko stopped UFC newcomer Theodor Berggren with a second-round head kick Saturday at UFC Baku, according to MMA Mania.
Berggren, a short-notice replacement, weathered early exchanges and held his own against the 24-year-old welterweight through the first frame. The tide turned midway through round two when Donchenko connected with a head kick that sent Berggren to the canvas. Donchenko swarmed along the cage, landed a series of right hands that brought Berggren back to his feet, then dropped him again for the finish.

Donchenko's momentum builds after second UFC win
The stoppage gives Donchenko his second UFC win following a decision over veteran Alex Morono. Both victories have come since the Russian welterweight emerged from The Ultimate Fighter, and the back-to-back performances have him pushing toward the division's top 15.
Berggren's octagon debut ends in a loss, though he showed resilience before the knockout sequence. Donchenko now carries a two-fight streak into the second half of 2026.
