Donald Cerrone Returns To Face Anthony Pettis At RAF 15

Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone is coming out of a four-year layoff to face Anthony Pettis in a freestyle wrestling match at RAF 15 on November 28.

Cerrone, 43, retired from MMA after a submission loss to Jim Miller at UFC 276 in July 2022. He fought 38 times in the UFC and went into its Hall of Fame in 2023.

This will be his third meeting with Pettis, 39, who won both MMA fights: a first-round body kick stoppage in January 2013 and a unanimous decision in May 2020. Pettis kept fighting after the UFC, competing in the PFL, Karate Combat and pro boxing, with his last bout a unanimous decision loss to Chris Avila in July 2024.

RAF launched in 2025 and has featured former UFC fighters such as Khamzat Chimaev, Colby Covington and Arman Tsarukyan.
