Diego Pacheco put an end to his recent decision drought by finishing Immanuwel Aleem in the 11th round Saturday night at Dignity Health Sports Park.

The middleweight/" class="internal-link text-bone underline decoration-ash/30 hover:decoration-gold underline-offset-2">super middleweight knockout artist, who had gone the distance in multiple consecutive bouts, found the stoppage late against Aleem in Carson, California. ESPN reported the finish came in round 11 after Pacheco broke through with power punches.

Pacheco regains knockout form after decision streak

The victory marks a return to form for Pacheco, whose reputation was built on finishing opponents inside the distance. His previous fights had all reached the scorecards, raising questions about whether he could still find the explosive endings that made his name.

Aleem, a durable veteran, weathered the early rounds but could not survive Pacheco's late surge. The stoppage came as Pacheco pressed forward in the championship rounds, landing the shots needed to force a referee intervention.

Pacheco improves his record and reasserts himself as a threat in the 168-pound division. No immediate next opponent has been announced.
