Diego Pacheco Avoids Top Middleweights Again
Diego Pacheco fights Darius Fulghum on November 14 in Carson, California, extending a pattern of sidestepping available title shots at middleweight. Fulghum enters on a 1-1-1 stretch, with his lone win in that span coming against Yoanki Urrutia, per Bad Left Hook.
Pacheco turns 26 in four months. Five years ago he told Bad Left Hook his goal was to fight for a world title by age 22. Since then he has declined purse bids and mandatory orders that would have put him across from Christian Mbili, Janibek Alimkhanuly, and Hamzah Sheeraz. The Fulghum fight airs on DAZN and TNT at 8 p.m. ET.
Olascuaga Defends Flyweight Strap Against Martinez
On the undercard, Anthony Olascuaga defends his WBO flyweight title against former Olympic silver medalist Yuberjen Martinez. The 35-year-old Colombian turned pro in 2022 after multiple Olympic appearances and has stopped all seven opponents since. Martinez represented Colombia at the 2012, 2016, and 2020 Games before switching to the paid ranks.
The Carson card also features Charlie Sheehy against Gabriel Flores and David Adeleye against Alexander Flores in ten-round support bouts. Prelims start at 4:15 p.m. ET on DAZN.

Adames holds the WBC middleweight belt but is not defending it against mandatory challenger Meiirim Nursultanov. Warburton ranks 219th at super middleweight on BoxRec. Bruno Surace, who beat Jaime Munguia earlier this year, fights Kamil Bednarek on the same show.
Thursday night in Montreal, undefeated super lightweights Jhon Orobio and Henri Cedeno meet on DAZN at 6:30 p.m. ET. Erik Bazinyan and Steven Butler, both coming off knockout losses in their last outings, headline the chief support. Bazinyan was stopped in the tenth by Munguia in September 2024; Butler fell to Edgar Berlanga by seventh-round stoppage in July.
