Derrick Lewis gets pin for 75 clean drug tests, credits marijuana
UFC heavyweight Derrick Lewis received recognition for 75 consecutive clean drug tests at Tuesday's media day in Washington, DC, ahead of his bout against Josh Hokit on the South Lawn this weekend.
The 41-year-old fighter, who holds the promotion's record for most knockout wins, was awarded a pin during the event and used the moment to address critics. "People said I ain't clean all this time, I told y'all," Lewis told reporters, per MMA Mania. "I got nothing against drugs but marijuana every now and then helps me out."

The Houston native added that he appreciated the gesture from the promotion, joking about his reaction before keeping things "pretty cool." Lewis is coming off a technical knockout loss to Waldo Cortes-Acosta at UFC 324 in January, a setback he will look to reverse against Hokit on Saturday.
The UFC White House card, taking place on President Donald Trump's birthday and streaming on Paramount Plus, marks one of the more unusual venues in recent promotion history. Lewis enters the bout with a 29-13 record and one no contest.
First bell is scheduled for Saturday evening on the South Lawn.
