Dark Side of the Cage Season 2 trailer drops with Sonnen, Ortiz
VICE TV dropped the trailer for Dark Side of the Cage Season 2, which premieres Sept. 1 at 9 p.m. ET with seven episodes.
Per MMA Mania, the new season features Chael Sonnen, Tito Ortiz, Jason Miller, Mark Coleman, and Don Frye, who leads off the first episode. Other installments cover the murder charge against Phil Baroni and the McGregor-Khabib rivalry from UFC 229, described by the network as one of the sport's darkest feuds.

"The greatest fights in MMA didn't always happen inside the cage," VICE TV President Pete Gaffney said in a statement. "This season tells the stories behind the rivalries, controversies and unforgettable moments that helped shape modern mixed martial arts — and changed the lives of everyone involved."
Season 1 aired in early 2025 and explored the collapse of PRIDE FC, the rise and fall of Kimbo Slice, and The Ultimate Fighter's early impact.
The season premiere airs Tuesday, Sept. 1.
