Dana White Trolls Espinoza Again, O'Malley's Next Opponent

In today’s MMA latest headlines, Dana White has hit out at Stephen Espinoza as the UFC CEO continued to exchange verbals on social media.

The pair have been involved in a back-and-forth on social media ever since White reacted to reports that Showtime could step away from boxing in 2024.

In response, White criticised the show’s production as he was not sorry to see the network facing challenges. Thereafter, Espinoza had a dig at the UFC by questioning their revenue.

This was after he confirmed that Showtime would have its third gate, which would generate over $20 million this year. And since that was more than what the UFC had done in their whole history, White responded by branding Espinoza a weasel.

White On Espinoza

"That’s exactly the type of response I would expect from that Weasel Espinoza. That s***bag has absolutely nothing to do with the success of Canelo, Ryan Garcia, and Terence Crawford. Those guys are mega stars and they are the ones responsible for driving the gates in their fights.

"For him to even try and take any credit at all shows you exactly what an arrogant, delusional POS that guy is. For this clown to talk about ‘levels’ is hilarious. The production of the fights on Showtime is an embarrassment and I have been saying that FOREVER.

"He is a little guy with a BIG yap, and is a complete phony. I’m not at all surprised this is the end for them. It should have come way sooner. Sorry to see you go Weasel, enjoy your retirement," White said

And the following exchange had shown just how much their relationship had deteriorated. In the following video, some technical difficulties emerged during One Championships One Fight Night 14 event. Thereafter, White took a dig at Espinoza by blaming him for it.

"Espinoza has taken over the production for One FC," White said

O’Malley’s Future Fight

Outside of that, the UFC appears to be in a good place when it comes to producing stars. And one of those is none other than Sean O’Malley.

The former is the current UFC bantamweight champion, having beaten Aljamain Sterling at UFC 292 via a second round stoppage.

That made O’Malley a major cash cow in the sport, as a crossover over fight with Gervonta Davis came to the fore.

The latter is currently with PBC and fights on Showtime, which is why White’s previous comments are not going to aid things when it comes to making a fight. But when it came to fighting in MMA, O’Malley had his own thoughts about who he could face next.

"I really, really did truly want to fight in December. I called out ‘Chito’ for December, but then I talked to the UFC and they kind of already had – they were trying to get Colby (Covington) and Leon (Edwards) together. I asked them, and they want me to main event my own show, which I think is f***ing dope. I’m down with that," O’Malley stated
