Dana White Netflix Documentary Set For Early 2027

Netflix is developing a documentary on UFC president Dana White that could premiere as early as the first quarter of 2027.

Gotham Chopra, who previously directed sports documentaries on Tom Brady and LeBron James, is reportedly helming the project, according to Page Six. The film began as a broader Las Vegas documentary before shifting focus to White and the UFC's trajectory under his leadership.

The streaming service reportedly approved the documentary while pursuing the UFC's broadcast rights, which ultimately went to Paramount in a seven-year deal worth $7.7 billion. The project is expected to cover White's role in the Fertitta brothers' acquisition of the UFC and the promotion's later sale to an Endeavor-led group.

Recent developments — including UFC Freedom 250 at the White House South Lawn and the launch of Zuffa Boxing with Saudi official Turki Alalshikh — could also feature in the final cut. Chopra has not commented publicly on the production.

No official title or release date has been announced.
