Dana White Reveals Where Fury vs Joshua Will Happen

Dana White says he negotiated the venue for Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua and knows exactly where the long-delayed heavyweight showdown will land.

The UFC founder and TKO executive told Sky Sports that his company handled both the location agreement and broadcast rights for the fight. White suggested financial considerations will dictate the venue rather than fighter or promoter preference, with Saudi Arabia widely expected to host. "At the end of the day, here's the truth, you're going to go where the money is," he said.

White Blasts Boxing Promoters Over Ego Issues

White criticised the sport's promotional politics for delaying the bout, which has been discussed for nearly a decade without materialising. He pointed to what he called weak leadership among boxing's power brokers. "What I've noticed is in the boxing business since I've been in it for a very short period of time, six months, the promoters' egos are actually more important than the fights themselves and giving the fight fans the fights they want to see," White told Sky Sports.

Eddie Hearn, who promotes Joshua through Matchroom, has previously said the fight should happen in Britain and that his team would push for a UK venue. White's comments suggest those efforts will be overruled by Saudi financial backing, which he confirmed is funding the matchup. Sky Sports has reached out to Matchroom and Queensberry Promotions for comment.

White praised both heavyweights in his interview, calling Joshua the kind of charismatic champion boxing needs and describing Fury as tough and entertaining to watch. Hearn said earlier this week he expects the fight to be finalised by the end of August.
