Conor McGregor eyes April 2027 for second UFC bout after July return
Conor McGregor plans to fight twice within 10 months after ending his lengthy UFC absence, according to ESPN.
The former featherweight and lightweight champion, who last competed in 2020, is slated to make his octagon return this July. Per ESPN's reporting, McGregor revealed that he already has a second date locked in for April 2027.
McGregor's Return After Five-Year Layoff
The Irishman has been sidelined since breaking his leg in a trilogy loss to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264. His comeback opponent and the July event details remain unannounced.
If both fights materialize as outlined, McGregor would complete two bouts in a nine-month span — a sharp contrast to the inactivity that has defined the final years of his career. The UFC has not confirmed either date or opponent.
McGregor's next appearance, whenever it lands, will mark his first action since July 2020.
