Cody Garbrandt opens up on motorcycles, music, kids in MMA Fighting sitdown
Cody Garbrandt sat down with MMA Fighting's José Youngs in Las Vegas to talk about everything except his next fight.
The former UFC bantamweight champion discussed his kids' favorite pastimes, his motorcycle collection, preferred music and movies, and go-to foods, according to MMA Fighting. Garbrandt is scheduled to face Adrian Yañez at UFC 329 in July after he stopped Xiao Long in March to end a two-fight skid.
Garbrandt's recent form ahead of Yañez bout
That March win snapped back-to-back losses to Raoni Barcelos and Deiveson Figueiredo. Garbrandt, who holds a 15-7 record, captured the bantamweight strap in 2016 with a decision win over Dominick Cruz and has notable victories over Raphael Assunção and Thomas Almeida as well.
The sitdown offered a rare glimpse of Garbrandt away from fight prep. MMA Fighting's full interview is available online.
Garbrandt and Yañez are expected to meet in late July, though the promotion has not yet announced an exact card or venue for UFC 329.
