Chris Barnett Wins Power Slap Debut Over Jake Logan

Former UFC heavyweight Chris Barnett won his Power Slap debut with a unanimous decision over Jake Logan at Power Slap 23 on Thursday night in Lubbock, Texas.

Logan won the coin toss and opened with a clean slap that Barnett absorbed without issue, according to MMA Mania. Barnett prepared to return fire but was granted a second attempt after Logan flinched during the first swing. Logan survived the second strike, and the match continued into round two.

Barnett Laughs Off Logan's Third-Round Shot

By the third round, Barnett appeared to be enjoying himself. After eating Logan's final slap, the 40-year-old immediately laughed in his opponent's face before delivering his own closing strike. Logan remained upright, sending the contest to the judges, who scored it 29-28 across all three cards in Barnett's favor.

"Beast Boy" apologized afterward for failing to secure a knockout, telling viewers he needs to work on slapping harder. He promised to deliver a finish in his next appearance, confirming he plans to continue competing in Power Slap.

The win follows Barnett's 61-second knockout victory under the Karate Combat banner earlier this year after he departed UFC following back-to-back losses. No date has been announced for his next Power Slap bout.
