Henry Cejudo's boxing debut has a new opponent after a last-minute withdrawal forced Misfits Boxing to pivot.

The two-division UFC champion will now face Most Valuable Promotions fighter Wanna Walton on Sept. 26 in Miami, MMA Fighting reported Tuesday. Deen The Great, the original opponent, pulled out with an injury.

MVP Steps In With Undefeated Prospect

Walton, a 20-year-old actor known for roles on Euphoria and The Umbrella Academy, has compiled a 3-0-1 record under the Jake Paul-led promotional banner. He debuted with a first-round knockout of Moises Guzman Almonte and has yet to lose. MVP executive Nakisa Bidarian said in a statement that Misfits offered substantial money for Walton to take the fight on short notice against an Olympic gold medalist and UFC legend.

Cejudo, 39, claimed he expected the switch. "I knew all along that Dean The Bitch would back out, and so I am not surprised he has done," he said, per the release. "But I have a new opponent now, who thinks he's a fighter, but Wanna will be playing another robot by the time I'm done with him."

The Olympic wrestling champion retired from MMA in 2020, returned three years later, but went winless in four attempts before retiring again in 2025. He has since competed in RAF wrestling events, recently defeating former opponent Merab Dvalishvili via pinfall in 36 seconds last month.

The Misfits card marks Cejudo's first professional boxing match.
