Canelo Alvarez Returns To ESPN P4P Top 10
Canelo Alvarez is back among boxing's elite after his victory over Christian Mbilli earned him a place in ESPN's latest pound-for-pound rankings.
The Mexican superstar, who had previously fallen out of the top 10, climbed back into the rankings following his performance against the previously unbeaten Mbilli. ESPN's panel of voters rewarded Alvarez for the quality of opposition and execution in the win.

The rankings update reflects a broader reshuffling at the top of the sport's imaginary weight class. Alvarez had been absent from the list as other fighters staked their claims with signature victories.
His return positions him alongside the sport's current best across all divisions. The rankings measure fighters on skill, resume, and recent form regardless of weight class.
Alvarez fights next in May, with multiple opponents under consideration for what would be his first defence since the rankings reinstatement.
