Chantelle Cameron expects a dominant performance when she faces Mikaela Mayer in a title unification bout this Saturday in Birmingham.

Cameron told Sky Sports she has been sharp in camp and does not believe Mayer possesses the tools to upset her. "I'm heading into fight week in such a good place — confident and knowing that it's going to take someone really good and special to beat me, and I just don't think that's Mikaela," she said, per Bad Left Hook.

The Northampton native added that camp has gone so smoothly she feels primed for her best outing yet. "When I'm thinking like that and acting that out in the gym and everything else, I just know that I'm not going to be denied the victory."

A win would give Cameron multiple world titles at welterweight/" class="internal-link text-bone underline decoration-ash/30 hover:decoration-gold underline-offset-2">super welterweight, though she acknowledged it would still rank behind her lone defeat of Katie Taylor as her top career achievement. That bout remains the only blemish on Taylor's record.
