Paul recently called out Lesnar publicly, putting the 49-year-old on the influencer-turned-boxer's radar. When asked directly about celebrity fighting opportunities, Lesnar was blunt in his response. The comment came after he explained his retirement plans center on family time, hunting trips, and supporting his two sons in hockey and his daughter's pursuit of the 2028 Olympics.

Lesnar has retired and returned multiple times throughout his wrestling and MMA careers, most recently stepping away after WrestleMania 42 in April. This time appears different, with Lesnar making a mainstream press tour to confirm the decision rather than quietly disappearing to his Minnesota farm. He last competed in UFC at UFC 200 in 2016, defeating Mark Hunt before the result was overturned due to a failed drug test.
