Kaik Brito saved his best punch for when Dana White had the closest view.
The Brazilian welterweight stopped Namo Fazil with a brutal right hand in the third round of their Dana White's Contender Series main event Tuesday night, per Sherdog. Brito said afterward that the knockout was no accident — he planned to land it directly in front of the UFC boss.

Brito Explains Third-Round Finish
Fazil's pressure had pushed Brito onto the defensive as the bout wore on, but the 20-6 fighter said he was holding something back. When he found himself against the cage near White's seat early in the final frame, Brito uncorked the counter right that flattened his opponent.
"I move different," Brito said in the post-fight interview. "I cut angles in a completely different way. And throughout the fight, it looked like I was going for it all. Believe me, I was saving some things; I knew I was gonna need it at the end. And I saw Dana right there, I thought, 'I'm gonna do this right in front of the boss. He's gonna see it.'"

Brito earned a UFC contract with the finish. He had lost his first Contender Series appearance in 2023 against Oban Elliott, then reeled off three straight stoppage wins on the regional circuit to secure another shot. He told reporters he wants his promotional debut as soon as possible.
