Brady Predicts Makhachev Finishes Garry At UFC 330
Sean Brady expects Islam Makhachev to dominate Ian Machado Garry when the two meet for the UFC welterweight title at UFC 330 on Aug. 15 in Philadelphia.
Brady told Home of Fight that Garry's size won't prevent Makhachev from scoring takedowns. "Ian is definitely a big guy, but he isn't going to put you out in one shot," Brady said, per BJPenn.com. "The moment Islam gets his hands on him, expect him to make it one-way traffic."

Brady Sees Submission Finish For Makhachev
The welterweight contender contrasted Garry with Michael Morales, noting that while Garry has height and reach, he lacks the power and strength to keep Makhachev at bay. Brady predicted a submission victory. "I just think it's one-way traffic for Islam," he said. "I think he's gonna get him down and I think he will sub him."
Garry has lost only once in the UFC, dropping a decision to Shavkat Rakhmonov in a fight where his grappling was tested. The Irishman has said he's improved in that area since the loss. Former Makhachev opponent Charles Oliveira believes Garry has a real chance to pull the upset, though oddsmakers favor the champion heavily.

Makhachev captured the 170-pound belt from Jack Della Maddalena earlier this year with a grappling-heavy approach. He has promised to take more risks and finish Garry at UFC 330.
