Hasan On His Undefeated Record After UFC Debut
Undefeated UFC prospect Bilal Hasan has no fear of losing his perfect record.
Hasan earned his UFC contract with a 45-second knockout on Dana White's Contender Series less than three weeks ago, according to Sherdog. The 10-0 fighter made his official UFC debut last week and has finished nine of his ten career wins.
Hasan's Approach To His Perfect Record
The rising star told Bedtime MMA he treats losses in the gym as part of the learning process. "I lose every day in the gym, and it's cool," he said. "I love that, man; that's how it should be. The No. 1 thing I love about martial arts, and I know you train as well, is the learning, man. The constant being a student, being a sponge, it's so cool."
While many undefeated prospects struggle after their first official loss, Hasan claims his training room battles have prepared him mentally. He said the endless growth potential in martial arts excites him more than protecting a perfect record.
Hasan's slick dance moves and microphone skills outside the cage have boosted his profile alongside his finishing ability. No next opponent has been announced for the prospect.
