Beterbiev And Bivol's Media Workouts

The media workouts occurred for the Undisputed Light Heavyweight Championship fight between Artur Beterbiev and Dmitri Bivol.

Boxing fans will see this era’s biggest light heavyweight fight against the two undefeated fighters. Beterbiev enters the fight with a knockout victory against Callum Smith to take his record to 20-0. The win meant Beterbiev retained his WBO, WBC and IBF Belts. It kept up his 100 percent knockout rate. But there are worries over whether the 39-year-old’s body can keep up with Bivol after his recent injury. The Bivol fight was first meant for June, but Beterbiev pulled out with a knee injury.

Bivol is undefeated with 23 wins, 11 of those have come by knockout. He is known for taking fights to the distance and managing to outbox his opponents. He did this expertly when he defeated Canelo Alvarez in 2022 in his biggest win. But Beterbiev is a completely different animal. He will have to earn Beterbiev’s respect by landing some power shots. He did show that he could stop his opponents when he got Malik Zinad out of the ring within the sixth round during his last fight.

Eubank Vs. Szeremeta

Elsewhere, Chris Eubank Jr. faces Kamil Szeremeta. It is his first fight in over a year since defeating Liam Smith. This was a perfect response after Smith had knocked him out during their first bout. It was a worrying sign since it was the first stoppage loss of Eubank Jr.’s career. He has a fresh start, as this is his first fight under BOXXER. But his opponent is no pushover.

Szeremeta is 25-2-2. He has racked up an impressive four wins out of his last five fights. His last bout was a split draw against Abel Mina. But Eubank cannot afford to overlook him. Szeremeta has been in with the biggest names. While he came up short against GGG and Jaime Munguia, he knows what it takes to fight on the biggest stage. He won’t be overwhelmed by what to expect. The fighters were put through their workouts as they had plenty to say afterwards.

"This is the outfit of the Saudis. It’s a privilege to be here and it’s an excuse to sweat it out, I still need to lose a few pounds. I’ve trained hard for a long time for this fight. It took me extra time to get back. I’ve been off for a year but I’m here I’m fully focused, I’m fit and I’ve still got a couple of pounds to lose for this fight. We’re ready to go," Eubank Jr. said
