Benn's Eubank Trilogy Plan

Conor Benn's camp is eyeing a trilogy fight with Chris Eubank Jr. at 168 pounds, but trainer Keith Connolly wants a comeback win first following Benn's second-round knockout loss to Ryan Garcia.

Finding that bounce-back opponent may prove tricky. Benn signed a multi-fight deal with Zuffa Boxing, which is unlikely to pay elite purses for him to face a low-level opponent, having already paid him big money to face Regis Prograis and Garcia.

There's also no such thing as a risk-free fight for Benn at this stage. His aggressive style leaves him open to counters, and he labored for twelve rounds to beat a 37-year-old Prograis before being stopped by Garcia, meaning even a handpicked opponent could pose a genuine threat.
