Bryan Battle is open to fighting Jake Paul in MMA but does not expect the boxer to accept.

The Professional Fighters League middleweight stopped by to discuss a potential matchup with Paul following his split-decision win over Dalton Rosta at PFL Charlotte earlier this month. Battle, who secured his first victory under the PFL banner at Bojangles Coliseum, addressed the possibility of facing Paul now that Most Valuable Promotions has merged with the PFL.

Battle Skeptical Paul Would Take Fight

"I would," Battle told reporters when asked about fighting Paul, per Sherdog. "I don't think Jake Paul would fight me. But I would fight Jake Paul for sure."

Paul remains a central figure in the newly formed MVP-PFL operation but has only competed in boxing to date, though he has repeatedly mentioned eventually making an MMA debut. Battle went 7-1 in the UFC before leaving the promotion after multiple weight misses and now sits 1-1 in the PFL.

The call-out surfaced during Battle's post-fight media obligations at PFL Charlotte on August 8. Battle returns to action later this year as part of the PFL's 2026 regular season.
