Barrett Eyes KO Of Harris At BKFC 92

Peter Barrett plans to knock out Elijah Harris when BKFC 92 lands at Fenway Park this weekend.

Barrett, who has won both of his bare-knuckle fights since leaving UFC, told BJPENN.com that Harris has shown defensive vulnerabilities that make him a prime target. The Massachusetts native threatened to walk from the promotion if he didn't get a spot on the historic Fenway card.

Barrett Predicts Early Finish At Fenway

Barrett expects his aggressive style to overwhelm Harris once the opening exchanges pass. Harris has scored two quick BKFC wins but has been dropped in multiple fights, according to Barrett's tape study. "He comes out hard and fast and he has a fragile chin," Barrett said on Just Scrap Radio. "Get through the first bit, and the kid is toast."

The 2-0 bare-knuckle fighter said he plans to bring calculated violence from the opening bell and keep the pressure on until Harris falls. Barrett knows his friend Rico DiSciullo faced Harris last time out, giving him additional insight into his opponent's tendencies.

If Barrett wins at Fenway, he wants title-shot language written into his next BKFC contract. The goal is to capture the belt and defend it until retirement, he said. Barrett has one fight left on his current deal and expects to renegotiate immediately after Saturday.

BKFC 92 takes place Saturday at Fenway Park in Boston.
