Axel Sola returned to the win column with a first-round D'Arce choke finish of Ismael Bonfim on Saturday at UFC Abu Dhabi inside Etihad Arena.
The lightweight prospect, according to MMA Mania, controlled Bonfim on the mat early before locking in the submission. Bonfim appeared to have some room to continue defending but tapped quickly once Sola cinched the hold.

How Sola neutralised Bonfim's power
The matchup on paper favoured Sola's balanced attack over Bonfim's finishing ability. While Bonfim carried more stopping power in past outings, Sola's grappling proved decisive before the Brazilian could land anything significant.
Sola threatened with multiple submission attempts in the opening frame, per the report, before the D'Arce choke came available. The finish spared him from needing to take Bonfim into the later rounds.
